Autumn is a graduate from Martin L. Nesbitt Jr. Discovery Academy (NDA). She previously attended the 2018 and 2019 Satellite Week camps as a participant and then interned and mentored with Destination SPACE. After graduation Autumn moved to Fairmont, WV to serve as an AmeriCorps member for 2 years on behalf of NASA’s IV&V facility and Fairmont State University. During her time in WV she traveled around the state, and occasionally wider in the eastern US, supporting competitive robotics events. Since Returning to Asheville NC she began overhauling curriculum and internal systems to improve the efficiency and impact of our programs. In addition to serving for Destination SPACE full-time, she has broadened her support for robotics events in the eastern US, and is resuming her post-secondary education.
